Questions
One fixed price for the build, plus a small monthly amount for hosting and changes. I'll give you both numbers once I've seen what you actually need — a five-page site for a trade and an online shop are different jobs, and quoting before looking is how people end up with a surprise. The example is free either way.
Most small business sites are a couple of weeks from go-ahead to live. What usually holds things up isn't the building — it's waiting on photos and words, so I'll help with both.
Tell me and I'll do it, usually the same day — that's what the monthly amount covers. If you'd rather edit prices and text yourself, say so early and I'll build it that way instead.
It shouldn't, and it's the part I'm most careful about. Your website and your email are separate settings on the same domain, and only the website ones change. I check yours first, preserve them, and confirm mail is still arriving before anything goes live.
Very common, and usually solvable. What matters is who controls the domain, not who built the site. If the login has been lost there's a proper recovery process, and I'll walk you through it.
Real photos of your own work beat stock photography every time, and phone photos are usually good enough — I'll tell you what to shoot. Where there aren't any, the design carries the page instead.
